Christmas Cards

So... I intended to make a Christmas card this year. I even went so far as to take a bunch of cute pictures in the snow, and loaded them on my computer. That was all on December 7th! I was on the ball! But then, as you know, stuff happens and they never made it public. So here they are now for you! No words still, but look how cute these pictures are!

Merry Christmas from the Coles Family! Let's all pretend this came in the mail... two months ago.

Christmas 2013

Turns out, this year I was a bad mom, and took hardly any pictures at all of Christmas. Here's what I got for ya:

I wanted some glowing tree pictures, which I think turned out pretty well.

Christmas morning, this is what we saw from Santa:

And here is the obligatory shot of the kid(s) waiting on the stairs. It is super blurry and I don't know where Luke is. I have no excuses.

Christmas 2011

Our Christmas was off to a rocky start this year. Luke didn't want to be awake, and the only thing that got him to stop crying was the promis of candy in his stocking.

Here he is excited about the candy.

I don't want to bore anyone with tons of present opening or a list of what we got, but it was a good year. The boys were very spoiled with all of their loot.

Our living room tree that we decorated with gingerbread men.

Merry Christmas!

Visting Santa

This was our first year visiting Santa Claus. We went to the Dickens Festival in Salt Lake to see this one. I'll let the picture speak for itself about how they behaved.

William asked Santa for a Spiderman toy, an airplane, and a motorcycle. Then later he wanted a trampoline too, so we had to write Santa a letter for that one. Luke did not talk.

I had this Christmas advent that I spent forever making this year so we would have a fun way to keep up with the days til Christmas, but I sold them all. So I will have to make more next year.

My Newest Project

This is what I have been working on recently:
A Christmas Advent! I am so excited about this one, the ornaments are looking so cute! Don't worry, I am making one for me and TWO for you! It is probably going to take a while to get it into the shop but I will keep you updated.

Christmas Quilt

This is the quilt I have been working on recently. This one will not be put in the shop because I only had enough fabric for one and I love it too much. But I do have leftover fabrics that I will be making pillows and other things in time for next Christmas.

Christmas

Here we are waiting at the top of the stairs to go down. We had to wake up the boys really early to open presents at our house before we went down to Grandma's house to talk to John on the phone. Can you tell they are not really awake yet?

This is one of the first presents we opened, a Cars (from the movie) set of cars.

Here is the biggest present we gave the boys- a new playroom! We finished our basement before Christmas so we would have somewhere to put all these toys. The boys love it (especially all the room for trains and cars) and we love that their toys are not all over the house.

This is Luke's favorite present. It is a tube you crawl through form Ikea. He just crawls through it over and over and it never gets old to him.

This is the other one of Luke's favorite toys. It is a turtle that you can ride on and it sings to you.

My Memorial Day Tent Sale Find...

DownEast had their tent sale this last week and we found these Pottery Barn stockings for three dollars each! They are so soft and I can't wait to use them this year. Now we just need to decide which of us is going to be Henry, Harper, Stella, and Elena. :) Just kidding, I am going to take the names out. Also William and Luke got lunch boxes with their names already on them, and William got a backpack that I already unstitched the name that was there and it looks great!

Christmas

Our Christmas this year was great, besides the fact that Eric had to work so much. The boys got all kinds of new clothes, books, and toys, and Eric and I got some games and movies. It was fun having mom and Brianne here also and I know they had fun playing with William and getting to see Luke.

Here are some pictures of the day.

This is the outfit Shana got William for his first Christmas. It is so cute and from my new favorite store- Janie and Jack!

The Nutcracker

Eric and I had recently gone to a shoe store that was closing and bought ourselves some new fancy shoes at clearance prices I bought this one pair of shoes that is so pretty and so fancy that I didn't know where I was going to wear them, but I HAD to have them. Then a few days later, Eric surprised me with tickets to the Nutcracker a couple days before christmas. It was so beautiful! I hadn't been to the ballet in a long time and I loved every minute of it. Ballet West was really good. I knew Eric really wasn't that interested in the ballet (and he even fell asleep for a minute during the second act), but he wanted me to be able to wear my fancy shoes. He is so sweet sometimes.
