Back on the Market!
Our house was officially put back on the market yesterday. I tried to search for it online but I couldn't find it on remax.com. I think they are waiting to post it on the website until we have the pictures taken. The lady is coming today to take those pics. I will post the link as soon as the website is updated.

The Wedding
Eric's cousin Stephanie got married today and this BEAUTIFUL inn in Millcreek Canyon. The wedding was kinda funny because the minister kept messing up what he was supposed to be saying. He asked Stephanie twice if she "takes this man." We had a really late start and everyone was worried we would get soaked. We kept feeling raindrops before the ceremony started. They had dancing afterwards and Eric was a bum and didn't dance with me until they played the chicken dance song. I at least got to dance with Sean (Ashley's husband).

Little Fishy
We took William for his first swim today! His grandparents were staying in a condo in Park City for the weekend, so we went up to see them and use the pool. William needed swim shorts and diapers and we had to search every kid's store in the outlets to find shorts small enough for him. Elise finally found some cute shorts in Gymboree. Eric had to get diapers for a 16-26 lb baby because they don't come any smaller. William didn't really like the pool too much and I think it was because it was cold. He didn't get in very deep- only to his belly. Eric and I sure had fun though!

The Flood
So today we had a flood in our basement. It started around 2:00 in the afternoon with a crazy flash-flood, and pretty soon we had these huge hailstones falling too. The hail lasted for about 20 minutes and the rain was about an hour, but it did some serious damage. On the highway that is right by our house, the drains were not working right, so there was a river flowing down the street that our backyard is up against. The water hit the curb and jumped over it, down into our backyard. The window well in our laundry room was filled up with about three feet of water, which was slowly leaking into the basement. Overall, we probably got about two inches on the floor. Plus the water was muddy and may possibly been partially sewage because it was overflowing the sewage drains. Gross. You can see the local news coverage here.

No more family visits
Well, after a nice long visit with family, everyone has finally gone home. My dad and Brianne left Utah the day after William's blessing. My mom stayed for another couple weeks. She was going to go home on July 4th but we talked her into staying longer so we could go to California to see my grandma. I called Amanda and she came down from Idaho to come to CA with us too on a buddy pass. After we left, my mom went to Florida to finish her trip around the country and see Shana, while Amanda went home. I had so much fun with everyone while they were here. My mom and William got really close and I'm sure they miss each other now.

Our trip to California
We just got back from our trip to California. We decided to fly into Oakland because we would have had to wait around in the airport all day in Sacramento, and plus I wanted to see San Fransisco. It was fun to see it, but driving around was crazy! We had lunch in Chinatown at this place that Jackie Chan apparently likes to eat. Mom wanted to have an after-lunch snack at the Ghiradelli factory, but we vetoed that. I want to go back and spend some time there because there is A LOT to see.
The Famous San Fransisco Trolley
Ghiradelli Factory
The Skyline
In Grass Valley, this time we had time to visit all the cute shops on Main Steet and Mill Street. The we went looking for hippies in Nevada City. Mom had all kinds of stories about them from when she was living there. Some of those people have CRAZY hair! I don't know why people have dredlocks, they are just gross.
Mill Street
Grass Valley
One of the Victorian houses there- Eric wanted me to take pictures of them so I could make paintings and sell them. Don't know if I'm going to do that though.
Great-Grandma and Great-Grandbaby
Four Generations (and Eric)
You could tell my Grandma was so excited to have a great grandbaby! She just loved him.

Madagascar
Julie (mother in law) is doing a mural in her house of the characters in Madagascar. I told her I could draw the characters out for her and she could paint them. I was drawing the pictures off of the tiny little pictures on the dvd box. They turned out really good! Julie is a good painter and I can copy really well so we make a good team.

Grass Valley... Here we come!!!
We decided to visit my grandma in California with my mom before she has to go home. Since she is a teacher, she's got the whole summer to do whatever. She is already most of the way to Grass Valley, so we decided to use the flight benefits with Jetblue and head west! We will be going for the weekend of the 11th-14th. Hopefully Amanda can come down from Idaho and join the party.
