Dinosaurs in the Shade

Wills and Luke made themselves some "shade", which is their fort behind the recliner. They were playing with dinosaur puzzles back there and Wills made up new names for some of them.

Mater Operation

We sometimes like to buy new games when Eric goes out of town as a treat for being left at home. We bought this Operation game that is Mater from Cars, and the boys totally don't get the concept of the "surgery", but they think it is hilarious to buzz him.

A Silly Thing Wills Does That I Don't Know What To Call

Recently Will started to do this silly thing where he makes a noise over and over and you ask him what he's doing and he says, "I'm just saying (insert noise)". He does this with all kinds of noises. It's kinda funny, so I got a video to remember it for when he's too old to do it anymore.

Luke's Food Obsession

Luke is obsessed with ice cream. I think that is the first food word he learned to say. Wills still says it like a bad word, which I think is hilarious and Eric thinks I taught him. But I didn't. Anytime we go near the freezer, Luke starts saying, "ice cream! ice cream!" I got these funny pictures of him waiting for a bite.

New Year's Rock Band

We had Danny and Kylee's family and Kylee's sisters over on New Year's Eve to play games. We played Rock Band first and then moved upstairs. William and Logan decided they wanted to be a band when we left all the stuff out. It started with Wills picking up the microphone and sining for a couple seconds and then saying "The end" and running away. Logan came up to join the band and I got this video of their first performance.

Christmas

Here we are waiting at the top of the stairs to go down. We had to wake up the boys really early to open presents at our house before we went down to Grandma's house to talk to John on the phone. Can you tell they are not really awake yet?

This is one of the first presents we opened, a Cars (from the movie) set of cars.

Here is the biggest present we gave the boys- a new playroom! We finished our basement before Christmas so we would have somewhere to put all these toys. The boys love it (especially all the room for trains and cars) and we love that their toys are not all over the house.

This is Luke's favorite present. It is a tube you crawl through form Ikea. He just crawls through it over and over and it never gets old to him.

This is the other one of Luke's favorite toys. It is a turtle that you can ride on and it sings to you.

Harmony

I found the boys doing this one day. I think they are trying to harmonize.

William Loves Toy Story Mania

Wills is really funny when he plays this video game. He is supposed to flick the remote up to put a ball through a hoop but he gets really into it and jumps all over the place.

There's A Snake In My Ear

This is a game that William and I made up. He checks to see if there is a snake or an airplane in your ear.

Luke's Second Steps

I didn't expect that Luke would really take his first steps today, and I would have had the camera out earlier if I had known. For his first steps, he took about five without falling, and this is the second try on this video. Eric didn't get to see because he is in Oregon and Luke will be a walking boy by the time he gets home!

Will and Luke Playing

This was the first time I saw Will and Luke actually playing together by themselves. Will has always loved to help me get Luke to laugh or cuddle him with me, but this time he did this all by himself. This video is actually a couple months old.

Then this one is from a couple days ago. (By the way, that is prunes all over him, he just finished eating dinner.) I was making Luke laugh in this one...

...and Will did the same thing here. I love to see them playing together!

Luke's favorite new thing

This is Luke's favorite new thing: blowing raspberries. Sometimes he closes his mouth too hard and then they don't come out right and his face turns all red. It's pretty funny.

William meeting Luke

Here is a video I meant to post a while ago, William meeting Luke for the first time. He kept saying "baby" over and over... right after I stopped recording.

The New Dance

Will loves to dance any time he can hear music and recently, his favorite dance has changed to this....

(He used to bounce up and down or stomp from right to left, but I don't have any videos of that and he always dances this new way now.)

Good for a laugh

I took this video a couple weeks ago to show Eric what he was doing and it is so funny! It still makes me laugh every time.

Will can crawl!

William started crawling last night! And it was not yet the last day of the month, so that means he was officially seven months old when he learned how. I am posting a couple videos I got of him, but he really can crawl a lot better than the videos show. He was all over the place last night and today, he can already stay up on his knees most of the time.

These videos are not the greatest because I was using a different camera (on mine the memory is full) and also grandma kept picking him up every time he whimpered. Enjoy!

Other part of Third Day

After the Animal Kingdom closed, we went to Epcot because it is open later. I loved seeing all the different countries costumes, buildings, and food. We were there at the perfect time to see the different shows the countries put on. One of my favorite shows was the Japanese drummers.

We also stayed for the show at night because we saw a ton of people walking in right before the show started, and we figured if people come just for the show, then it might be worth it. This was the only nighttime show we saw, but it was really cool.

We decided that we needed to stay and extra day in Disney, so after this, we got a really cheap hotel so we could come back for part of the next day. We are going to go back to the Magic Kingsom to meet Ariel and for Pirates of the Caribbean since it was closed before, and also go back to our all time favorite ride in Hollywood Studios from Toy Story.
