The Highlight of My Week

I LOVED watching all the news coverage on this wedding! I didn't wake up to watch the actual wedding (it was at 4 in the morning for crying out loud!), but I did see the news coverage that came after. Everything was so beautiful!

Little Bunny Foo Foo

For Easter, my mom sent my boys this set of finger puppets from the Little Bunny Foo Foo song. My boys love playing with them, and my mom loves making them. So now there are lots for YOU in the shop!

The set comes with one bunny, two field mice, one fairy, and one goon (he's my favorite). Now I need to make my boys a puppet theater, and I have requests in to my mom for lots of other designs.

Staying at Grandma's

Eric has been out of town in Texas this week, so for me to work we have been staying at Grandma Coles' house all week and she watches the kids while I am working. Luke and Wills were pretty happy that there were doughnuts for breakfast this morning.

Easter Egg Hunt at the Church

The first egg hunt we went to this year was put on by the primary in our ward at the church building. The little kids got to go first, so that was perfect for our little boys. They were both good egg pickers, and there were no fits thrown when we reached our allowed limit.

More easter pictures to come later!

Zoo Trip

We went to the zoo with the family on Saturday. The boys had a great time. It was especially fun for the to go with their cousins.

This is Eric's jacket I am wearing; I am not this big.

Will's favorites were the elephants because he liked the baby, and also the leopard who came right up to us and pawed at the glass.

Paradise Pier Hotel

For this trip, we splurged and got a room at the Paradise Pier Hotel which was expensive, but so cute. Here are pictures of the room, the hall, and the lobby.

Lego Woody in the Lego Store in Downtown Disney.

On Thursday before we left, we hung out in Downtown Disney since our passes were already expired. It's always fun to look in those shops.

The Last Disneyland (for a while)

Our Disneyland Annual Passes just expired, so we had to make one last trip before they did. I know this post has tons of pictures, but I couldn't resist since we won't be going back for a while. We flew out early on Wednesday, and back Thursday afternoon. We only had one day in the park so we had to do a lot to make it worth it.

Riding the monorail into the park

Waiting to fly on Dumbo

This is always one of the favorite rides.

The boys also loved playing with the goats in Frontierland.

Peter Pan came right up to us and started talking to Wills, who was too shy to talk back. Peter Pan is his favorite movie but he's such a dork when he meets characters in the park.

We played in Toontown for a while. Wills loved the musical fountain.

And here he is with Eric in the last car of Gadget's Go-coaster. You can just barely see his ears.

In Donald's boat with me

Out of all the regular characters out in the plaza, Wills wanted to meet Pluto but of course wouldn't actually talk to him.

Lutie was making goofy faces while we waited for the boys to come back from the bathroom. Luke was asleep for a lot of this, we didn't forget him.

We played forever in the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. We had never been in here before and it was pretty fun.

The one new character I met this time was Kenai from Brother Bear.

The boys took a nap together in the stroller. Since we can't afford a Phil and Ted they were in the regular stroller...

...and they woke up like this.

Wills loved Autopia, another first for him.

Goodbye Disneyland, we will miss you!

Will's Party

Birthday Boys!

Sorry for the crappy pictures, the lighting was terrible. For William's birthday party, we went to Airborne Trampoline Arena and we got our jump on. They have wall to wall tramps and a foam pit that the boys went crazy for. That's also part of the reason for the bad pictures, because they wouldn't stand still for a second. Here are some action shots for you.

Luke loved it when we threw him into the foam pit.

I don't know why my eyes are all freaky looking in that last one. Whatever.

Then we went to the Coles' house to open presents and have cake.

He got some great toys: a ship with airplanes from Grandma and Grandpa Coles, a Thomas boat from Logan, a shirt from Ashley, and a bubble gun from great-grandma Coles.

Then on Sunday, we had some friends from church over to play and have more cake. I made a cake that looked kinda like this one:

... but mine didn't have an engine because I ran out of room. I had oreo wheels, a kit-kat track, and cars holding m&ms, marshmallows, and chocolate chips. I forgot to take a picture of the real one. Thanks everybody for celebrating with us!
