Luke's 4th Birthday

Luke wanted a Halloween birthday this year because he couldn't get enough of Halloween! Plus he loves candy, so there you are.

He asked everybody to dress up, and all the kids did at least. Here is the best group shot I got:

Luke was thrilled with all his presents. You can kinda see Eric's costume here. He was Prince Eric.

We did some fun spooky foods and sandwiches, and a graveyard cake.

The boys got a kick out of Grandma Coles dressed up as a pumpkin, and we played that party game where you have to grab a paper bag with your mouth while standing on one foot. That is what she is doing right here.

Happy Birthday Little Luke!

Superhero Party

For Will's and Logan's fourth birthday party, we trained them to be superheros. First, we got them suited up in their capes, eye masks, and wrist bands.

Then they had to show off their muscles and super strength by holding buildings over their heads.

They also practiced flying over those buildings.

Next they fought some bad guys with killer punches and kicks. All the bad guys popped.

Then, a brother bad buy dropped a bunch of bombs and they had to diffuse the bombs with super strength and speed.

Some bad guys showed up on top of the buildings again, and our heros sprayed them with their ray-guns.

The best part of super hero training was practicing shooting webs, like Spiderman.

Wills practiced on Grandma too, but Grandma fights back.

For all their hard work, they were rewarded with lots of presents. Lots of superhero and imaginext stuff.

All the guests were wowed by the boys new powers.

We also had our treat of a Spiderman and a Batman cake.

Happy Birthday, big boy!

Luke's 2nd Birthday

For Luke's second birthday we went to Boondocks and let the boys go mini bowling. They absolutely loved it, especially Luke! He would roll the ball so softly that it stopped a couple times and I had to go get it.
I didn't post any pictures of presents because he had his back to me the whole time, so none of them turned out. He loves his new toys though! He got some clothes, lots of legos, some new trucks, and tools that he has been carrying around the house to fix stuff. I made the cake and it turned out so cute!
The inside is the coolest part!
I got the idea for the cake from this pin. Happy Birthday Big Boy!

Will's Party

Birthday Boys!

Sorry for the crappy pictures, the lighting was terrible. For William's birthday party, we went to Airborne Trampoline Arena and we got our jump on. They have wall to wall tramps and a foam pit that the boys went crazy for. That's also part of the reason for the bad pictures, because they wouldn't stand still for a second. Here are some action shots for you.

Luke loved it when we threw him into the foam pit.

I don't know why my eyes are all freaky looking in that last one. Whatever.

Then we went to the Coles' house to open presents and have cake.

He got some great toys: a ship with airplanes from Grandma and Grandpa Coles, a Thomas boat from Logan, a shirt from Ashley, and a bubble gun from great-grandma Coles.

Then on Sunday, we had some friends from church over to play and have more cake. I made a cake that looked kinda like this one:

... but mine didn't have an engine because I ran out of room. I had oreo wheels, a kit-kat track, and cars holding m&ms, marshmallows, and chocolate chips. I forgot to take a picture of the real one. Thanks everybody for celebrating with us!

Will's Birthday

William's birthday was this last thursday. He turned three years old. I had to work that night so we just did a little present opening party with the four of us. We opened presents that were mailed to him from family also. Elise gave him three dollars for his three years.

We gave him a Toy Story bean bag game, a golf set (which broke right away so we owe him a new one), and lots of books.

My mom gave him some books which he loves (Monster at the End of the Book, Cat in the Hat, and Peter Rabbit), and two new movies (a Veggie Tales movie and Robots).

Shana gave him the present that he loves the most, a Thomas the Train tent. Wills and Luke both love hanging out in there.

Thanks everyone for the presents!

Luke's First Birthday

Luke turned ONE on Sunday. We had the family over for dinner and cake to celebrate. Luke got some great presents and new clothes. The only problem now it making William share, because he thinks the new toys are his.

Here is my little baby in his birthday crown.

Some highlights, you can click on the pictures to see them bigger.

This was my favorite cake eating picture. You can see the cake hanging right off his face.
