I had to do one more winter post since I have these pictures from about a month ago. And then hopefully we will be done with winter. I'm done with it anyway.
William has these snowman pieces that make the face so you don't have to have real coal. We built him in the backyard and Wills put on the face. He wanted the snowman to have ears (I think he was thinking of what goes on a Mr. Potato Head) so the mouth is not quite big enough. He wanted to hold his hand for the picture.
Luke did not like the snowman, or the snow, as soon as he fell once and got his little hands cold.
Here's our guy. William named him "William." He wants to make the next one bigger and name it "Mom."

Christmas Quilt
This is the quilt I have been working on recently. This one will not be put in the shop because I only had enough fabric for one and I love it too much. But I do have leftover fabrics that I will be making pillows and other things in time for next Christmas.

Purple Chin
William fell off a barstool and hit his chin on the counter pretty hard. It turned purple immediately and got worse over the next few days. He kind of liked his purple chin and he would tell us if it was getting better. Here is is right after it happened, and it is all healed now.

lil QT
(I tried to make that title look like what would be on a candy heart)
Luke loves candy hearts so much that he ate everyone's hearts this year. Which was fine with me, because I don't love those. He likes to hoard them in his little fists. I found him like this one morning and while I ran to get the camera, he was trying to pick up all the candies so that I wouldn't be able to get them. Doesn't he look guilty?
I knot there is stuff all over his face in this next picture, I just liked the face he is making. That's a candy heart in his mouth.

Our Valentine's Getaway
I know I'm really late but I still wanted to put something about our Valentine's Day on here. Eric took me out on the Saturday before valentine's (since I work Monday) to the ballet. Ballet West at the Capitol Theater was performing Sleeping Beauty. I LOVED it! I think Eric tolerated it pretty well, too.
The music was beautiful. I don't know if anybody else knows this, but the Disney movie Sleeping Beauty uses the music from the Tchaikovsky ballet, so I recognized some of it. I found this really cool poster for the movie online. This is my favorite Disney movie.
After the ballet we walked back to our hotel. We stayed at the Marriott. Eric had flowers waiting in the room, which were so pretty. This picture is not the hotel, it is my house.
The next day we went to the hotel pool and it was the first time I have enjoyed swimming in a long time because the water was WARM. It's not fun for me if I'm freezing. Then we got our boys from Grandma and Grandpa's house and went back home.

Luke's Blanket
I finished my baby Luke's quilt. It is made with Riley Blake fabrics from the Wheels collection and I made it with a raw edge technique. The fabric on the back is flannel and it make the blanket so soft! The exposed edges are fun for his little fingers to play with. Look for one in the shop soon for you!

Happy Valentine's Day!
And look at this really cool website I just found! You can draw pictures but mine are NOT as cool as the featured ones. And I love that you can see exactly how the person drew it. I did not draw this one but maybe someday I will draw something for you.
