Step 1: Push the stool up to the counter so you can get the scissors out of the knife block.
Step 2: Cut the bag of crayons open.
Step 3: Get caught and have your picture taken with the evidence.
Step 4: Finally get those crayons you worked so hard for.
Step 5: Make the "You can't get mad at me" face for Mom, not in trouble anymore.

Luke's First Birthday
Luke turned ONE on Sunday. We had the family over for dinner and cake to celebrate. Luke got some great presents and new clothes. The only problem now it making William share, because he thinks the new toys are his.
Here is my little baby in his birthday crown.
Some highlights, you can click on the pictures to see them bigger.
This was my favorite cake eating picture. You can see the cake hanging right off his face.

Just in case anyone is interested...
I made the halloween costume using MADE tutorials. Dana is great at explaining in an easy-to-follow-way how to sew clothes.
The red fabric is a knit that is super stretchy and kind of has a sheen, it was some kind of cotton/lycra mix I think. It is supposed to look like spandex but a little thicker so they wouldn't freeze. The black fabric is an old cotton t-shirt. Here is the shirt tutorial (which I made to fit tight so it would look like spandex), here is the undies tutorial, and the pants I made with a mix between the top of these pants, and the arms of the 90 minute shirt.
The incredible symbol is felt sewn on the the shirt, and Dana has some good tips for that here. The belt is a strip of felt with lines of straight stitching so it wouldn't stretch like crazy, and it was safety pinned in the back (I couldn't find my velcro).
So there you go, two incredibles costumes that are not perfect, but it was my first attempt at sewing clothes from knits, and I think they turned out well. I got better with Luke's because I did his second. If you want to see pictures of both, they are here and here.

Some Really Cool Pumpkins
They had a display in Disneyland with a bunch of really cool carved pumpkins. Can you tell what they all are?
Halloween at Disneyland
We met a lot of new characters when we went to Disneyland this last time. William loved Sully and actually gave him a hug.
He was terrified of Jack Skellington, he wouldn't even look at him.
Here is the hag from Snow White...
the Queen of Hearts...
and Frollo from the Hunchback of Notre Dame.
We also saw Pocohontas on a bridge. It was cool for Eric to meet his great grandma, and William was checking out her legs. Weird, because I guess she is his great grandma too. If you don't know what I'm talking about, let Eric tell you.
This is in the Mexican restaurant. They had pretty cool decorations for Dia de los Muertos, and I don't know if I spelled that right.
I though it was really fun to meet Frozone when the boys were Incredibles.
And we had to meet Tinkerbell when William was Peter Pan. We brought last year's halloween costume because it still fit and he still loves it.
This is Duffy, Mickey's Teddy Bear. I think he is new, and they had stickers that said, "I hugged Duffy", so I had to hug him.
Here are the boys again. William was helping Luke with his bottle.
And one more of the Incredibles. This was supposed to be a nice, still pose but they both started to run away as soon as I put them there, and now it's perfect for the costumes.
(I don't know why this is fuzzy here, if you click on the picture it will not be fuzzy.)

William's Now Famous Bed
This is the screen-shot of one of my favorite blogs to follow, ana-white.com, and my picture of William's bed has been on the front page for two days now! See it down there in the bottom left corner? I am so cool, and practically famous!

Happy Halloween!
I have more pictures for later, but here is a look at my incrediboys. This is their fighting stance. See the fists?
I Miss Summer Already
These are older pictures, but I found them looking through my old files and I had to post them. They make me want to play outside.
I think the sky is beautiful in these shots. Look at this cute little fuzzy-head!
Yes that is my car in my backyard, and yes William is wearing a pink swim diaper. They didn't have blue ones at the store.

There's A Snake In My Ear
This is a game that William and I made up. He checks to see if there is a snake or an airplane in your ear.
Playing with the Boys
Luke ate a black crayon. It was the washable kind, so it got ALL OVER his face.
William found a leaf cookie cutter and put it on his head like the princess (Tiana from the princess and the frog). He loves her. Maybe we watch that movie too much.
Here is where Mickey is riding the horse from Toy Story.
And Luke is playing the drums (an old diaper box).

Lots of Catching Up To Do!
I've been a total slacker putting new posts on while Eric has been gone, partially because he had the camera while he's been gone. So now that he's back, here you go!
First, we went to the state fair about two months ago. It was not great, but the had the big slide which is fun and lots of animals.
Will got to pet a goat...
...and they both pet this baby cow.
We had to put our faces in these carrots for William and he loved them. I think this was his favorite part.
