Family Update

B ecause I haven't posted for a long time, here's a recap of the past few weeks. Mom visiting for about a month and we were busy with quilts and other craft projects that I will have to post soon. Luke is crawling all over the place, up stairs mostly, and he is getting in to all kinds of food, like this grilled ham and cheese sandwich...

...or this popsicle.

William got into the action too with ice cream.

Will's favorite thing to do since Eric got back from Disneyland with these new toys is line them all up and say their names, then move them and do it again. We call them "the guys" and they travel all around the house in his backpack.

And also, I've been playing around with photoshop that Mom got me for my birthday (thanks mom!) and I had to use early for Shana's pictures. And Mom, I was going to wait until my birthday to open it, but Shana made me. Just kidding, I would have used it anyway but not told you. Can you tell which of these have been fixed?

Silly William

I could probably post a couple times a week pictures of something William did that was funny, so here is this last week's edition.

First he wanted to go on a bike ride, so he helped himself up.

Here is where he built himself a path out of stools to climb from Luke's walker over to Luke's highchair.

And then he fell asleep on the stairs.

Little Fuzzy Head

L uke's hair is so fuzzy. It never lays down flat. Even if it is dirty, it still stands up. It's even fuzzier in person.

Family Tree

I made this family tree for Kylee, just copied something she found in Martha Stewart's magazine. The names are blank on purpose. She is going to fill those out herself. Eric thinks I should make these and sell them on etsy. These and the paintings I made for William, and I am making some ocean ones for a friend.

Zoo

We went to the zoo the other day with our friends Alison, Ethan, and their boy Soren. William loved seeing the animals and the giraffes and elephants were his favorites.

We were really close to the giraffes and Ethan actually touched his head.

William didn't want to leave the giraffes. He could have stayed there forever.

This is him saying the word "giraffe". He makes this funny face when he says it so he can get his lips to make the "g" sound.

Luke loved his first time at the zoo.

He and Soren played (sorta) by the elephants.

Toilet Nap

W ills fell asleep on the toilet after some hard work. I know, you don't have to tell me, this reminds everyone of a certain picture of myself at this age.
